Surrounded by darkness and twinkling stars, the silence is broken by the distant call of coyotes and the bugle of elk. Disconnected from the hustle and bustle of your daily life this is your time to enjoy the peace and quiet, of the majestic landscape, in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

From stunning landscapes, to abundant wildlife, this park will have your jaw dropping at every turn. You will be inspired by the vast and sprawling views. Let your creativity flow along the Little Missouri River as you capture beautiful images and memories that will last a lifetime.

Join nine other women on an adventure of a lifetime and come experience the joy of learning and exploring together.  You will go home with wonderful images, great memories, and a new tribe to share your successes with.  

What are you waiting for? Come explore the same land that Theodore Roosevelt once lived, worked and explored. Experience the joy of seeing wild horses, bison, deer, prairie dogs and some of the most beautiful scenery Western North Dakota has to offer.

You and your tribe will have both field and classroom instruction. During classroom time you will learn workflow, editing techniques, the composition of a good photo, how to focus in the dark and much, much more.  In the field we will put everything you learned to practical use. With two leaders, you will get personalized attention and learn how to adapt to changing environmental conditions.

Your experience will be amazing from beginning to end.  You and your tribe will learn together, support one another, laugh until you cry, and walk away with many moments to remember.  Come explore some of the North Dakota’s 70,448-acre acres with Inspire Photo Tours and learn how to explore the world creatively!

Limited to 10 participants (minimum of 4 required)

Skill Level: Open to all skill levels, though participants should have a working knowledge of their camera.

Equipment: DSLR, assorted lenses from wide angle to telephoto, sturdy tripod (a ball or gimbal head works best), plenty of memory cards, batteries, filters, camera manual, remote trigger, card reader, headlamp, and laptop computer with Lightroom and photoshop.

Prairies & Peaks in the South Dakota Badlands

Our destination  offers an impressive expanse of land consisting of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires blended with the largest protected mixed grass prairie in the United States.  Best known for its striped hillsides, the Badlands is also home to bison, mule deer, badgers, antelope, eagles, owls, prairie dogs, coyotes, big horned sheep and bobcats.  Working in harmony, this ecosystem thrives and offers a playground for photographers.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Experience five days of Rocky Mountain grandeur with Inspire Photo Tours.  Rocky Mountain National Park encompasses the pure and natural beauty of the region. With high-mountain lakes and streams, peaks more than 14,000 feet, thick evergreen forests and thousands of acres of wildlife, this national park conjures up what most people imagine when they think of the Rockies.  Travel with Kristy and Lisa to experience the wonder of the aspen trees, hear the sounds of the bugling elk, and photograph the abundant panoramic views of the park.  If night skies are clear, we will also talk about and photograph the stars.  This workshop will be limited to just 10 people.
